Instant Pot Chicken Wings

When we were stocking up, I saw chicken wings for very cheap at our local "multicultural" grocery chain. I thought I remembered them being good when I cooked wings in the Instant Pot and then fried them. I was wrong; should've broiled. The IP made them too moist and they never crisped up. Regardless, was tasty chicken.

we also at some point had these very good ribs from someone cooking next to a bar and selling whatever they had and it was some kind of soy bbq. that was why we did this sauce - it was also not as good as we wanted but passable, lol.

method:

• something like 1 lb? chicken wings (we had 2 packages totalling 24)
• seasoned them with whatever blend I had on hand (probably cajun)
• Instant Pot pressure cook for 7 minutes (this takes more like 20-30 with the time it takes to come to pressure and release)
• fry in batches (don't do this. broil them.)
• toss in sauce
• top with toasted sesame seeds

• however much stubbs bbq was left in a bottle in the fridge
• some amount of soy sauce
• gochujang
• powdered ginger

verdict: "it's not bad even though it's not what we wanted"
