Apple Pie

Crust: KAF Classic Double Pie Crust topped with turbinado sugar
Filling:
- 5 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 3 Tbsp butter
- Pupkin pie spice & salt (plus extra cinnamon and marjoram)
Cook filling ingredients until soft. let cool. add to pie crust and add top crust. if you're doing something fancy like lattice, refrigerate before baking. if not, slice some steam holes in there.
bake at 375 for 45-50 minutes. check after half an hour to see if you need to foil the edges. let cool for like three hours.
verdict: I like pie now!
