walker is from texas and he prefers chili with beans in it.

walker mostly follows smitten kitchen's
three bean chili
recipe with some modifications. if we have ground beef, which we did this
time, he browns 1/2 lb in some oil at the very beginning then continues
with the recipe. instead of dried beans, he follows the note about canned
beans. i think he added 2 cans this time, chili beans and pinto beans.
we ate this over jalapeno fritos since the store was out of normal ones. this bowl is topped with shredded cheddar, diced avocado, cilantro, and a spoonful of yogurt (we almost never have sour cream around).
