tofu banh mi

tofu:
i used brown pressed tofu and glazed it with a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, oil, and spices (white pepper, cinnamon, cumin, maybe other stuff?), then broiled them on high heat for a few minutes per side.

banh mi baguettes:
these are from the hot bread kitchen cookbook. they have no resemblance to actual baguettes, banh mi or otherwise. they're more like soft sandwich rolls? it's fine tho, they taste really good.

fixings:
mayonnaise, maggi sauce, pickled carrots, jalapeno slices, cilantro
