i got a lasagna cookbook for christmas. this is the first thing i've made from it.
our friend's dog died very suddenly and i thought i would be nice for once and had walker deliver half the lasagna to him. we only had enough ground beef and mozzarella to make a half recipe in the first place so obv we finished the entire remaining 1/4 in one night.
recipe:
it's conveniently posted
online. i don't have berbere spice mix so i read some recipes and thought it
kinda sounded like a combination of harissa spice mix and paanch phoron so
that's what i used plus cinnamon, cayenne, and pasilla chile powder. i
also couldn't find lasagna noodles at the grocery store so i used a hack
from the book: wonton wrappers. they're basically fresh pasta, right? it
worked fine but i didn't account for them taking much less time to cook in
the oven than standard dried lasagna noodles, so watch out for that.
